May we help?
- What makes the ALFlak MAX 250 different from the standard ALFlak models?
- The ALFlak MAX 250 has a 2700 mm laser arm deflection, compared with approx. 1400–1500 mm on the standard ALFlak models, and a working height from 510 mm to 1870 mm. This long reach lets operators weld large moulds, pressing tools and machine components with minimal repositioning of the machine.
- What type of laser does the ALFlak MAX 250 use?
- It uses a 250 W Nd:YAG laser with a wavelength of 1064 nm, operating in pulsed mode. It delivers 9 kW peak pulse power and 90 J pulse energy, with pulse durations of 0.5–20 ms, frequencies from single pulse to 100 Hz and an adjustable power curve within each laser pulse.
- How is the welding process observed and controlled?
- The ALFlak MAX 250 has a Leica microscope attachment with 10× eyepieces (16× optional) for observing the weld. It is operated through a display with membrane keyboard and a multifunctional footswitch, and supports WINLaserNC software through an external PC.
- What optional accessories are available for the ALFlak MAX 250?
- Optional accessories include a turn-and-tilt objective, a rotary axis module with chuck, a camera system for welding process observation and an Ergo wedge. Final machine configuration and accessories are confirmed at the time of order.
