Product description
The ALPHA LASER ALM 250 is a mobile Nd:YAG laser welding system designed for industrial welding, mould repair and on-site maintenance applications. Equipped with a 250 W average laser power, 9 kW peak pulse power and 90 J pulse energy, it supports pulsed laser welding across different workpiece geometries.
Its mobile configuration allows the laser system to be brought directly to the workpiece, reducing the need to dismantle large moulds or components. The electrohydraulically controlled laser arm can be positioned and secured at the required working location. With joystick operation, programmable user coordinate control and flexible laser head positioning, the ALM 250 supports welding operations across different industrial applications.
Technical Accessories
- ALFT-HDMI Camera System – Allows the welding process to be displayed on an external monitor. The camera is mounted below the microscope attachment and includes a power supply, HDMI cable and laser connection cable.
- Ergo Wedge (5°–25°) – Allows the microscope binocular to be tilted for improved operator ergonomics.
- Flexible Halogen Bulb – Provides additional lighting for the working area.
- Magnetic Holding Sphere – Enables quick positioning and secure holding of the workpiece in different working positions.
- Perpendicular Objective with LED Ring Light – Provides even, flicker-free illumination of the workpiece. Available with 150 mm or 300 mm focusing objectives.
- Rotary Axis Module – Designed for welding cylindrical components. Supports horizontal-to-vertical rotational positioning and includes a 125 mm chuck with a 24 mm inside diameter.
- Touch Operating Unit for 4-Axis Control – Allows adjustment of four movement axes in semi-automatic mode and triggering of laser pulses. The laser pulse and shielding gas are triggered simultaneously.
- Turn and Tilt Objective – Allows the laser beam to be directed up to 40° from the vertical across a full 360° rotational range. Helps access difficult-to-reach welding areas without repositioning the workpiece.
