Features

Collaborative Human-Robot Operation

COBO Weld is designed to work alongside human operators. Integrated force-torque sensors detect unexpected contact in real time, while ISO 15066 compliance supports collaborative operation in shared workspaces.

6-Axis Robotic Movement

Six-axis movement provides the flexibility required to position the welding tool across different component geometries and approach complex weld locations.

Real-Time Motion Correction

The robot can correct its motion in real time to maintain welding accuracy along complex, curved and varied weld paths.

Intuitive Programming

The user-friendly programming interface simplifies robot setup and operation, helping reduce the learning curve associated with robotic welding systems.

Micro & Structural Welding

COBO Weld is suited to applications ranging from precision micro-welding in sectors such as electronics and medical devices to structural welding requirements in automotive and aerospace manufacturing.

Flexible Mounting

The lightweight, modular design supports floor, wall or overhead mounting, allowing manufacturers to adapt the robot to available production space and workflow requirements.

Automation Integration

Support for industrial communication protocols including EtherCAT, Modbus and Profinet enables integration with existing automation and manufacturing systems.

Multiple Payload Options

The COBO Weld range is available in six configurations with payload capacities from 3 kg to 30 kg, allowing the system to be selected according to application and component requirements.
