Product description
COBO Weld combines robotic automation with advanced welding capabilities to support consistent welding across different component sizes and production requirements. The series is available with multiple payload options from 3 kg to 30 kg, with individual robot configurations offering working radii from 622 mm to 1900 mm. Intuitive teach pendant and Smart GUI programming support robot setup and operation, while adjustable torch mounting with auto angle correction helps position the welding torch according to application requirements.
The system supports floor, wall and inverted mounting, with internal or external torch cable routing and air-cooled or water-cooled configurations depending on the system. COBO Weld supports laser, MIG, MAG and TIG processes at the series level, while the RW models are configured with the Evo 500HPR welding machine for CO₂, MAG and MIG pulsed gas-shielded welding.

Multiple Payload Options
The COBO Weld series is available with payload options ranging from 3 kg to 30 kg. Multiple configurations allow the robotic system to be selected according to the welding application, component requirements and tooling needs.
Extended Working Radius
The RW models offer working radii from 622 mm to 1900 mm. Effective welding sizes range from up to 1100 mm on the RW-3 to up to 3700 mm on the RW-20, providing different reach configurations for varying component sizes.
Precise Robot Positioning
Repeat positioning accuracy varies across the RW models according to their configuration. RW-3 and RW-5 offer ±0.02 mm repeat positioning accuracy, while RW-10 offers ±0.05 mm and RW-20 offers ±0.1 mm.
Intuitive Programming
COBO Weld supports intuitive teach pendant and Smart GUI programming for robot setup and operation. The programming interface is designed to support configuration and control of the robotic welding system.
Adjustable Torch Mount
The torch mount can be adjusted to suit welding requirements and includes auto angle correction. This allows the welding torch position and angle to be configured according to the application.
Flexible Cable Routing
COBO Weld supports internal or external torch cable routing. This provides flexibility when configuring the welding system and routing cables around the robotic setup.
Flexible Mounting
The robotic system supports floor, wall and inverted mounting configurations. This allows the system to be positioned according to the available workspace and production layout.
Welding Process Compatibility
The COBO Weld series supports laser, MIG, MAG and TIG processes according to the supplied system specifications. The RW-3, RW-5, RW-10 and RW-20 configurations use the Evo 500HPR welding machine and support CO₂, MAG and MIG pulsed gas-shielded welding.
Carbon Steel & Stainless Steel Welding
The RW configurations are specified for welding carbon steel and stainless steel. Supported material combinations include solid carbon steel, flux-cored carbon steel, solid stainless steel and flux-cored stainless steel.
