Product description
The GH-2242NT is a CNC press brake from GHBM's NT Series. It has a working force of 220 tons and a maximum bending length of 4200 mm. Its seven NC axes are Y1, Y2, X, R, V, Z1 and Z2, which control ram movement, backgauge positioning and the worktable.
The machine has a 460 mm daylight opening, a 200 mm ram stroke and a 400 mm throat depth. It is controlled by a GHBM-940T CNC controller with a 21.5-inch Techmation display. Its configuration includes an 18.5 kW Techmation main servo motor, a DPT hydraulic system, an OPKON closed-loop position sensor, SKF/NOK cylinder seals and a GHBM double-side quick-release clamp.
Features
220-Ton Working Force
Maximum working force of 220 tons for heavy-duty and thicker-plate bending.
4200 mm Bending Length
4.2-metre maximum bending length, with 3400 mm between columns.

Maintenance & care
General recommendations for servo-hydraulic CNC press brakes. Follow the manufacturer's manual for model-specific requirements.
- Daily cleaning: Remove metal debris and dust from the full length of the worktable, tooling, clamps and backgauge area.
- Hydraulic oil checks: Check oil level and condition regularly. Replace oil and filters at the manufacturer's recommended intervals.
- Leak and seal inspection: Inspect the cylinders, hoses and fittings for leaks, and replace worn seals promptly.
- Tooling inspection: Check punches, dies and quick-release clamps along the full bending length for wear, damage or incorrect seating. Confirm that the tooling is rated for the tonnage being applied.
- Lubrication: Lubricate backgauge guides, screws and other moving parts as specified by the manufacturer.
- Axis and backgauge checks: Watch for abnormal noise, vibration, positioning drift or unexpected movement.
- Electrical inspection: Check cables, connectors, switches and the control panel. Only qualified personnel should do electrical work.
- Safety checks: Before production, verify that the foot switch, emergency stops and safety devices work correctly.
- Periodic servicing: Schedule manufacturer-recommended inspections and keep a log of maintenance and faults.
